Gambia Journey
Our mission in Gambia with SimonAndFriendsXAfrica is more than a simple undertaking.
It is a journey of hope, change and transformation. We are carving out a better future for more than a hundred children, one student and one orphan at a time.
The challenges are like mountains to climb, but our determination stands even higher.
Every day we face obstacles and confront the reality of a world where access to education is a luxury. But we do not bow to difficulties; rather, we use them as springboards to jump higher. In the village where the school and the orphanage stand, daily life is a constant struggle for survival, but no one suffers more than the children. Poor nutrition and precarious hygiene have left these little ones vulnerable to any illness.
United for a better future
Despite the adversity and the challenges we face, there are also rays of light shining in the dark, such as the extraordinary project run by SimonAndFriendsXAfrica. Thanks to the generosity of many supporters, it has been possible to guarantee dignified conditions inside the school.
This is much more than simple help. It is a sign of hope and solidarity that shows how much we can do when we join forces for a common cause.
